The Lexus LX600 features a completely redesigned, dual-screen setup called the Lexus Interface system. This setup replaces the old, heavily criticized physical remote touchpads with an intuitive, touch-first and voice-activated control hub.
The Hardware Layout
- Top 12.3-inch Touchscreen: This is the primary EMV display. It handles the map layout, cloud-based navigation routing, wireless phone integration, and detailed audio track menus.
- Bottom 7.0-inch Touchscreen: This dedicated lower display sits right beneath the main screen. It acts as a static control pad for vehicle climate control, seat adjustments, and real-time off-road status metrics (like G-force meters and Multi-Terrain Monitor views).
Radio & Audio Features
- Integrated Native Streaming: You can log directly into Apple Music or Amazon Music directly through the built-in system. This enables music streaming directly over the vehicle’s cellular network without relying on your phone’s battery or data.
- Station Organization: The radio interface stores up to 20 unified favorites across AM, FM, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio bands. It automatically updates and refreshes local channel lists as you drive across regional boundaries.
- Premium Acoustic Delivery: Sound profiles route either through the standard 10-speaker Lexus Premium Audio setup or the optional, studio-grade 25-speaker Mark Levinson Reference 3D Surround Sound System, pumping 2,400 watts of power.
